Questions Worth Asking (Maybe)

Posted on July 22, 2013 by Ralph Hanson
  • Why would a big name director like Spike Lee choose to fund a movie using Kickstarter?
Well, let’s let him answer that question:

  • If you had a button that would let you turn off all news about the Royal Baby, would you use it?
The Guardian newspaper has such a button.
  • Does it seem like summer blockbuster movies all follow a formula?
If so, it comes from the book Save The Cat! The Last Book on Screenwriting You’ll Ever Need.
  • Why is Neflix secretly cropping movies?
Because even though we’ve gotten used to wide screen movies, we really feel like we’re being cheated if there is any letterboxing.
