- As people of color become a majority, is it time for journalists to stop using the term ‘minorities’?
When I posted this link to an article from Poynter last week, I got a lot of interesting feedback. PR man @mitchellfriedmn wrote, “Funny, but I stopped using [minority] years ago and had never thought about it until your tweet!” Educator @KendraBergenske responded “Is minority becoming a state not tied to race? Maybe there are minority anymore but the divide still exists” - How is Disney making use of social media?
According to Mashable, Disney’s brilliance is in using social media to build communities, not just promoting product. - Are “Truck Nutz” protected speech?
